בקצרה: אין חשבון ואין הרשמה. הרשימות, ההערות והמועדפים שלכם נשמרים במכשיר בלבד. רק תוכן שברשימה זוגית משותפת נשמר בענן (Google Firebase), ולשיפור האפליקציה נאספים נתוני שימוש ודיווחי קריסות אנונימיים. איננו אוספים שם, אימייל או טלפון, ואיננו מוכרים מידע.
מה האפליקציה
שמות היא אפליקציה לעיון בשמות עבריים, שעובדת קודם כול בלי אינטרנט. אין בה חשבונות משתמש, אין הרשמה, ואין פרסומות.
מידע שנשמר רק במכשיר שלכם
הרשימות שלכם, הערות, מועדפים, היסטוריית החלקות, הגדרות וסטטוס הרכישה נשמרים מקומית במכשיר ואינם מועלים אלינו. מאגר השמות המלא מגיע עם האפליקציה ועובד ללא חיבור.
שיתוף זוגי (אופציונלי)
כשאתם יוצרים או מצטרפים לרשימה זוגית משותפת, התוכן המשותף נשמר בשירות Google Firebase (Firestore): השמות שהוספתם, סימוני לב, תגובות, והשם הפרטי והמגדר שהזנתם לעצמכם בעת יצירת הרשימה או ההצטרפות אליה, יחד עם מזהה טכני אנונימי לכל מכשיר. איננו אוספים אימייל, טלפון או פרטי חשבון. כל מי שמחזיק בקישור ההזמנה יכול להצטרף למרחב (עד שני מכשירים), לכן שתפו אותו רק עם בן או בת הזוג. עזיבת המרחב מפסיקה את הגישה שלכם; מחיקת המרחב מוחקת את התוכן המשותף.
אנליטיקה ודיווח קריסות
אנחנו משתמשים ב־Mixpanel וב־Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics) כדי להבין אילו יכולות בשימוש ולתקן תקלות: אירועי שימוש (למשל ״בוצע חיפוש״, ״נצפה שם״ לפי מזהה קטלוגי), דגם מכשיר, גרסת מערכת וגרסת אפליקציה, ומזהים אנונימיים. איננו שולחים טקסט חופשי שהקלדתם (חיפושים מדווחים כאורך בלבד), את הרשימות שלכם או את התגובות שלכם. המידע אינו נמכר ואין מעקב בין אפליקציות.
רכישות
הרכישה החד־פעמית מתבצעת דרך Apple App Store או Google Play. פרטי תשלום אינם מגיעים אלינו.
מחיקת מידע
מידע מקומי: מחקו את האפליקציה. מרחב זוגי: השתמשו ב״עזיבת המרחב״ באפליקציה, או כתבו לנו עם מזהה הקישור ל־shemot@benbasha.com ונמחק אותו.
ילדים
האפליקציה מיועדת להורים הבוחרים שם; היא אינה מכוונת לילדים.

The short version: no account, no registration. Your lists, notes, and favorites stay on your device. Only content in a shared couple list is stored in the cloud (Google Firebase), and anonymous usage analytics and crash reports are collected to improve the app. We collect no name, email, or phone, and we never sell data.
What the app is
Shemot is an offline-first Hebrew baby-names browser. No user accounts, no registration, no advertising.
Data stored only on your device
Your shortlists, notes, favorites, swipe history, settings, and purchase status are stored locally and never uploaded by us. The full names dataset ships inside the app.
Couple sharing (optional)
When you create or join a shared couple list, the shared content is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore): names added by either partner, likes, comments, and the first name and gender you enter for yourself when creating or joining, together with an anonymous technical identifier per device. We collect no email, phone number, or account details. Anyone holding the invite link can join the space (max two devices), so share it only with your partner. Leaving the space stops your access; deleting the space removes the shared content.
Analytics and crash reporting
We use Mixpanel and Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics): usage events (e.g. "search performed" as a length only, "name viewed" by catalog id), device model, OS and app version, and anonymized identifiers. We do not send free text you type, your lists, or your comments. No data is sold; no cross-app tracking.
Purchases
The one-time unlock is processed by Apple / Google; we receive no payment details.
Data deletion
Local data: delete the app. Couple space: use "Leave space" in the app or email shemot@benbasha.com with your invite link id.
Children
The app is intended for parents choosing a name; it is not directed at children.
